How Local Record charges

Buyers pay through Stripe and your sales are paid out to your organization's own Stripe account. The full breakdown, with worked examples, is on its way. The short version today:

Tickets

The ticket price, any fees you set on the show, any tax you charge and every tip are paid to you. Local Record keeps a small flat fee per paid ticket, shown to the buyer as its own line, and card processing is passed through at cost. Free tickets cost nothing.

Store

Records, CDs, cassettes, apparel and accessories sold through your store are paid to you in full: Local Record takes nothing on merch today. Buyers see shipping and card processing added at checkout, with the total before they pay.

Payouts and refunds

Stripe pays your account out on its own schedule. A refund returns the buyer's whole payment.
